Kudos to the director for not only throwing for a loop but for sending chills down my spine.Inside Out is an animated comedy about a girl named Riley (voice of Kaitlyn Dias), who is uprooted from her life in the US Midwest when her father gets a new job in San Francisco. Either way, I still enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions that led to that point. The end was a bit surprising, but in the end made the most sense. I love seeing her act again and can’t wait to see her do more. She was sweet, kind, and supportive despite her friend’s insanity. Along with him, I absolutely adored Brinke Stevens character. Harder performance was disturbing and heartbreaking and I felt like I could relate to him on certain levels, mostly the mental exhaustion part. ![]() But either way, the story succeeded at messing with me.įor the most part, the acting was average, however, two people stood out. Perhaps it’s because I know what it’s like to fight the demons inside my head and it made it all too real. I rarely find myself scared over a horror film, but this one had me at the edge of my seat with my heart pounding. The dreadful tone reached out and grabbed me consuming me. He’s wrong.įrom the very beginning of Safe Inside, there was something about this film that gave me the chills.
